Awards and Recognition

It is an honour to have received the province's top recognition, the Nova Scotia Tourism Industry Association "Golden Hospitality Award".

Other recent achievements:

2007 - The Canadian Tourism Council named Pictou Lodge as one of the Top 3 tourism operators for all of Canada in the development of Human Resources.
2007 - General Manager Alain Bossé was awarded the special Pictou County Ambassador Award.
Alain also received the Pictou County Tourism Association Employee of the Year for 2007.
1999-2000 - Taste of Nova Scotia service award.
1999, 2004 and 2006 - Pictou County Tourism Association Shining Star Award for promoting our county outside the province.
2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 - The National Commitment to Excellence Recognition in Human Resources award for ongoing staff training certification - a reflection of our determination to providing first class genuine hospitality services. 86% of our staff have completed professional national certification - the highest achievement for a staff of over 50 people in Canada.
