Oceanside Dining – Pictou Lodge Resort
Our renowned Taste of Nova Scotia menu is designed around fresh local ingredients. In fact Taste of Nova Scotia association approval requires a minimum 60% local ingredients… and we easily surpass that criteria. Seafood fresh off the boat from nearby waters, seasonal organic vegetables from a nearby farm, and local strawberries, blueberries, maple syrup and honey all go into Chef Courtney's creations. Our extensive wine list features Nova Scotia wines. To honor our local heritage, where the first settlers arrived in New Scotland, we bake oatcakes and serve traditional Haggis with a Glen Breton sauce, a whisky produced by the Glenora distillery in Mabou, Nova Scotia.

Outlet HoursWe will be closing for the regular dining and accommodation season on October 17, 2010, however will remain open year round for all prebooked corporate and private events. We will reopen for regular accommodations and dining May 1st, 2011 and will remain open through to January 1st 2012. Dining hours during regular operation season: Monday through Sunday 7 am to 9 pm with Sunday Brunch being served from 10 am to 2 pm. |
